Goldstone Hall is a rurally located hotel and restaurant in a Georgian manor house which has parts dating back to medieval times; it is just to the north of Newport, Shropshire and south of Market Drayton. Goldstone has built up a reputation for quality dining, very comfortable bedrooms, all set in beautiful gardens which overlook the Shropshire and Staffordshire countryside. Goldstone has won many awards and is currently “The small hotel of the year for the Heart of England West Midland region” which confirms its position as one of the finest small hotels in Great Britain.

Description of Bedrooms

Not surprisingly, therefore, none of our 12 bedrooms are identical. They do have certain features in common: they are spacious and airy (even 250 years ago, the Georgians knew how to optimise space). Bathrooms are large and all bar one feature a power shower (Georgian style has been enhanced and modernised by the latest Teutonic bathroom technology). Since much of your time in your room will be spent in bed, we’ve placed an emphasis on ensuring that they, too, are large and exceedingly comfortable.
