The Angel Hotel was a great coaching inn on the London to Fishguard road; privately run now since 2002. Sitting at Abergavenny's centre, it combines friendly and attentive service with an elegant décor. Fully non-smoking.

How to find us

 

South of the town, the A4042 from Cardiff meets the A465 from the North and the A40 from the West. Coming into Abergavenny the main road turns right in front of the Angel. But you turn left by the side of the Hotel.

 

The A40 is our main approach road. Motorway standard, it links with the North-South dual-carriageway, 10 miles East.From the Midlands via Ross-on-Wye on the M50, or from London and the East, via the Severn bridges, on the M4 (junction 24).
