Set in 300 acres of parkland and woodland in Hertfordshire, England The Grove is the perfect hotel conference venue for meetings and corporate events for 5 - 750 guests.
Our flexible meeting spaces all have natural daylight and our comprehensive day delegate and 24 hour delegate packages provide mouth-watering confectionary and fresh fruit served at breaks; delicious lunch options and evening dining choices ranging from one of our three unique restaurants, choice of private dining rooms or al fresco barbeques.

Traditional country house elegance combined with 21st century design, views over the beautiful 300 acre estate and all the latest in room facilities will ensure the perfect night away.

Food and drink have always been essential pleasures for guests at a country estate. At The Grove, this tradition continues but with a twist. In each of our restaurants, from fine dining in Colette’s, rustic relaxed comfort in The Stables, or the dazzling selection in The Glasshouse, you will find a blend of high quality ingredients, friendly service and stimulating environments.
Named after the owner’s mother, Colette’s is The Grove’s three rosette award winning hotel restaurant serving modern cooking with a classic twist. Located in the Mansion, the Earl of Clarendon’s former stately home, the beautifully restored 18th century dining room provides an elegant yet contemporary setting. Complemented by stylish service and stunning views over Charlotte’s Vale, Colette’s also features its own private terrace, ideal for summer aperitifs.
A relaxed and informal restaurant situated in the original stable block with views across the golf course. The menu features fresh local seasonal produce, with homemade, contemporary dishes that are simply presented such as fresh fish and succulent steaks.
The Glasshouse restaurant is our unique international 'Theatre of Cooking', where chefs perform at lunch and dinner, preparing British, Asian and Mediterranean dishes. These are cooked on rotisseries, in woks and wood fired ovens, then invitingly displayed, buffet style, for you to help yourselves. An extensive breakfast is also available for our overnight guests or to make those early morning meetings more pleasurable.
