The Spa Hotel is an elegant country mansion, set in fourteen acres of beautiful grounds, overlooking the historic spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells, in the county of Kent. Originally built in 1766, The Spa is privately owned. A sense of traditional British hospitality blends with a relaxed, modern approach to service and standards, promising a genuinely warm and comfortable welcome.
Each of the seventy bedrooms is attractively appointed, with all the facilities you might expect from a hotel of this stature. The comfortable Lounge provides a perfect meeting point for morning coffee, afternoon tea and light meals. For fine dining, The Chandelier Restaurant is recognised as one of the region's best, with tall windows adding to the atmosphere of light and space. The Conference, Meeting and Event Suites are elegant, spacious and light and provide some of the best space in the county to hire for your event.

Meeting Room Description
The Boardroom, on the ground floor overlooking the lawns at the back of the hotel, can cater for up to ten guests for a private lunch or dinner party.
The Wells Room, situated on the ground floor south facing, the Wells seats up to 14 people for a private lunch or dinner party, or up to 25 people for an informal reception.
The Orangery, our latest addition, is a stunning new room situated at the rear of the hotel overlooking the gardens. This room can accommodate up to 60 people for a private lunch or dinner, or up to 100 people for an informal reception.
The Ashdown Room, opposite The Boardroom, is suitable for larger numbers up to sixteen people seated at one table, or an informal reception for twenty.
The Churchill Room, is located on the first floor with views across the grounds at the back of the hotel. This room can comfortably seat twenty-four guests at the oval table, or accommodate up to thirty-five for a cocktail party or informal reception.
The Yorke Suite, is an extremely versatile private dining room, with its own bar area, dance floor, air conditioning, subtle lighting and nearby cloakroom facilities. For private dining, this room can accommodate a maximum of six round tables in the Major Yorke Suite, with an additional two tables in the Minor Yorke Suite bar area. For a reception or buffet with informal seating, the room can accommodate up to one hundred and fifty guests.
The Queens Room, offers a large oak bar and dining facilities for up to forty-eight guests.
The Kings Room, with permanent dance floor and a stage area with spot lights, has direct access to the lawns and grounds at the back of the hotel. This suite can accommodate up to one hundred and eighty guests seated at round tables, with additional seating available in the Queens Room.
The Royal Suite, is created by opening up the Queens Room and the Kings Room.

How to find us
From M25 London Orbital / A21 Southborough
Leave M25 at Junction 5 and join A21 signposted for Sevenoaks and Hastings. Take the 4th exit for A26 Tunbridge Wells and Southborough. Follow A26 through Southborough and St Johns. At mini roundabout, take 2nd exit marked for through traffic. Drive past the Kent & Sussex hospital on right. Just after the parade of shops and restaurants, take right hand fork onto Mount Ephraim (A264). Proceed until you reach a mini roundabout. Take the 2nd exit and the hotel entrance is almost immediately on your right, just before the Renault Garage.
From Brighton A207 / A27
Leave Brighton on the A207 heading for Lewes following signs for A27. Then follow signs for A26 for Tunbridge Wells. Go straight over traffic lights at Crowborough (A26) and continue until you enter Tunbridge Wells. At the first mini roundabout bear left. Shortly after you will come to another mini roundabout (with The Swan Hotel on your right), turn left here and go up the Major York's Road. At the top of the hill you will come to another mini roundabout, take the first exit and the hotel entrance is almost immediately on your right, just before the Renault Garage.
From Eastbourne A2021 / A22
Leave Eastbourne via the A2021 and head for A22 towards Uckfield. Join A26 at Horsted Place. Then follow directions above through Crowborough A26.
From Hastings A21
Follow A21 through Robertsbridge and Flimwell, bypassing Lamberhurst. Leave the A21 following signposts for the A264 into Tunbridge Wells. Follow this road until you reach the traffic lights with the Royal Oak pub on your left. Turn right here onto Calverley Road. At the mini roundabout take the first exit onto Crescent Road. Continue straight over the next 2 sets of traffic lights (through the middle of town) and at the top of the hill turn left onto Mount Ephraim (signposted East Grinstead). Proceed to the mini roundabout and take the second exit. The hotel entrance is almost immediately on your right, just before the Renault Garage.
From Haywards Heath B2028 via East Grinstead
Follow B2028 to Turners Hill and join B2110, right turn. Follow this road into East Grinstead and join the one way system round town. Turn left onto the A264 for Tunbridge Wells. This road will take you through Hammerwood, Holtye, Blackham and Stone Cross. At the end of this road turn left following signs for Tunbridge Wells. Drive through Langton Green and you will see The Spa Hotel on your left just after the Renault Garage.
