The Glasshouse at Eskmills, in a town called Musselburgh in Edinburgh is owned by one of Scotland's most creative and passionate chefs, Steve Adair.

 

The former historic mill has been transformed to create a welcoming neighbourhood restaurant where the original architecture blends with new stunning contemporary features.

 

Located within a courtyard piazza of the restored Eskmills, the result is a relaxed dining experience where the food speaks for itself.

With a huge natural larder thanks to the surrounding East Lothian countryside and a commitment to using local produce and suppliers, the resulting dishes ensure customers return again and again.

Type of Events we support

 

The Glasshouse restaurant is a flexible venue that can accommodate many different types of events and receptions, from product launches to family celebrations, private dining to wedding celebrations

 

Archibald Hope House (situated alongside the restaurant) is capable of hosting a wide range of events, from weddings to conferences, from 60 to 500 guests.

 

Meeting Room Description and Capacity:

The venue can cater for up to 60 people seated in the restaurant and 130 for a standing reception.

In December 2008, The Glasshouse at Eskmills Events opened the Archibald Hope House (situated along side the restaurant), capabale of hosting a wide range of events, from weddings to conferences, from 60 to 500 guests. The new venue boasts stunning arched windows which overlook The Glasshouse House restaurant and water features.

 

Cuisine

 

Delicious 3 course menu created around local produce ingredients is available for only £15.00 per person from Tuesdays to Thursdays in February and March.

 

The Glasshouse is passionate about uncomplicated food which is clearly reflected throughout the menus. Locally-grown seasonal produce and local suppliers have been used.
