Welcome to The Biscuit Factory, Britain’s biggest commercial gallery comprise 35,000 square feet with two floors of exhibition spaces and two floors of artists’ studios. We sell paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewellery and glass by artists from all over the world. The Biscuit Factory is a fun, relaxed place to buy original contemporary art in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Capacity of Meeting Rooms
The Biscuit Factory has a light and airy ambience that sets the scene for whatever celebrations lie ahead. The Glasshouse can hold a maximum of 30 people or hold corporate functions catering for up to 300 people within the gallery - this can be entirely or split into sections) and have drinks receptions, buffets and presentations, all surrounded by inspiring art.
Cuisine
With a café and a restaurant on-site you need not go hungry or thirsty. Byker Vista Cafê is situated on the first floor – it is the perfect place to enjoy a light lunch or a coffee and a slice of delicious cake whilst taking in the views over the famous Byker Wall.

How to find us
Directions from the A1 South
Follow signs for Newcastle and drive over the Redheugh Bridge. Drive past the Casino and come to a set of traffic lights (you will see the discovery museum in front and to the left of you). Take a right at these traffic lights. Follow the road round (Centre For Life will be on your right). You will come to another set of traffic lights (in front of you is Burger King and the Carling Academy). Turn right and stay in the left hand lane. Go straight on and you should see the pink 50 Degrees North building on the roundabout. Take the 2nd exit of this roundabout and stay in the left hand slip lane. Get into the right hand lane as you approach the next roundabout – Take the 4th exit (the new big Northumbria University building should be on your left. Drive straight down that road and you will see a sign on your left to Shieldfield, Sandyford and Jesmond – take this left and we are at the bottom of the road to the right of the mini-roundabout.
Directions from A1 North
Follow the signs for the airport and you will come to the Kingston Park roundabout. Take the slip road off the A1 towards the city centre (1st exit on the roundabout). Go straight over the next roundabout and stay in the left hand lane as you enter the motorway. Follow signs for Tynemouth and The Coast – the roads will start to merge together – get into the right hand lane and turn right at the traffic lights. Turn left at the next roundabout and right at the traffic lights (an Esso Garage is on your left). Go straight over the next 2 roundabouts and we are situated straight after the 2nd roundabout on the right hand side.
Directions from the Tyne Bridge
Stay on the motorway as you come off the bridge, after the underpass there will be an adjoining slip-road on your left, move onto this slip road but stay in the right hand lane. Take the 4th exit (the new Northumbria University building should be on your left). Drive straight down that road and you will see a sign on your left pointing to Shieldfield, Sandyford and Jesmond – take this left and we are at the bottom of the road to the right of the mini-roundabout.
